We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Operations Manager to help lead and manage the firm’s day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and strategic planning, coupled with experience in a professional services or legal environment. This person will be responsible for the firm’s overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage the firm’s daily operations, including office management, IT infrastructure, HR functions, finance, and client services.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine internal processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction. Implement new systems and technologies to streamline workflows.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the managing partners and leadership team to develop and implement the firm’s strategic objectives. Ensure operational alignment with long-term goals.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and accounting practices.
- Client Service: Ensure the highest level of client service by improving communication and workflow across the firm. Address client needs and resolve operational issues.
- Technology & Systems: Oversee the firm’s technology infrastructure, including case management software, document management systems, and communication tools. Ensure the firm stays up to date with technology trends and implements best practices.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting systems to track firm performance, identify areas for improvement, and report to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management or a senior administrative role, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and process improvement.
- Experience with financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in an operations or leadership role, ideally within a law firm or legal environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- A proven track record of driving operational improvements and managing large teams.
